Dieser Kanal befindet sich zwischen den Inseln Madivaru und Felivaru. Dieser Kanal kann mit Riff rechter oder linker Schulter mit einlaufender Strömung betaucht werden. Start Riff rechte Schulter: Das Toppriff liegt in ca. 3-5m und das Außenriff fällt auf ca. 35-40m ab. Sobald man näher zur Kanalecke kommt, kann man große Korallenblöcke mit Schulenfischen sehen. Auf dem Toppriff befinden sich große Gruppen mit Süßlippen, Füsilieren, kleineren Rifffischen und auch Schildkröten kann man beobachten. Wenn man mit mittelstarker Strömung taucht, verpasst man eine Korallenfläche, die sich in den Kanal hinein zieht. Dieses Gebiet ist Treffpunkt von vielen Rotfeuerfischen und Skorpionsfischen. Leider ist dieser Teil nur bei sehr schwacher Strömung zu betauchen.
Während der Kanalüberquerung sollte man an der Kanalkante im Blauwasser auf ca. 25 m tauchen, während der Kanal langsam abfällt. Wenn man die Mitte des Kanals erreicht, trifft sich die Tiefe und die Flache Kanalkante. Hier sind die kleineren Überhänge und die Weichkorallen besonders schön. Im Verlauf des Tauchganges wird eine Sandfläche mit grünen Korallenbäumen passiert, wo sich sehr oft schlafende Stachelrochen aufhalten.
Größere Schulen Makrelen und vielleicht Adlerrochen sowie Thunfische können im Blauwasser den Kanal kreuzen. Das Ende des Kanals fällt auf ca. 35m terrassenförmig ab.
Die Ecke der anderen Seite des Kanals ist nicht so interessant, aber an dem steil abfallenden Außenriff können sich immer wieder größere Barakudas aufhalten. Nicht vergessen ins Blauwasser zu schauen, man weiß nie, was man dort alles entdecken kann!

This kandu is situated between the islands of Madivaru and Felivaru. Dive this site from either left or right sides with an in going current. Starting with reef right shoulder, the outreef drops away to 35 - 40m. Top reef starts in about 3 - 5m. As you come closer towards the channel, large coral blocks are on the corner with large schools of fish. On the top reef there are big coral blocks with Oriental Sweetlips, turtles, fusiliers and small reef fish. If you are crossing the channel with reef right shoulder and a medium in going current, you will miss the tongue that goes into the channel. This area is only to dive with a very slow current and is covered with soft coral, scorpion fish, lionfish, turtles and schools of Fusiliers. When crossing the channel you should continue along the channel edge and swim out in blue water staying on 25m. The channel drops away below you. As you come into the middle of the channel, the deep edge and shallow edge join, nice soft corals and small overhangs are to be seen in this area. Further along the edge, it will become sandy with green coral trees. Here often Stingrays are found sleeping in the sand. A large school of Jackfish, maybe eagle rays and big Tuna can be found either in blue water or swimming along the channel edge. The end of the channel is gently sloping down to terraces, which are deep on 35m. The corner is not so interesting but the outreef drops off sharply and barracudas are often seen here. The outreef shows a large amount of soft corals or outcrops where shrimps, anemones or lionfish can be observed.
Throughout your channel crossing, always look out in blue water; you never know what you may see.
