Das Felivaru Außenriff befindet sich gleich hinter der hiesigen Fischfabrik. Das Toppriff ist sehr flach zwischen 3-5 m. das Riff selbst fällt steil ab, manchmal bis auf Terrassen in ca. 30 m Tiefe oder teilweise sogar ins Bodenlose. An der Riffwand befinden sich viele Höhlen und Überhänge zwischen 18 und 30 m, die ohne weiteres betaucht werden. Diese sind mit vielen schönen Weichkorallen bewachsen. Es ist durchaus möglich dort auch schlafende Schildkröten oder sogar Leopardenhaie zu entdecken.
Vergesst auch nie ab und zu ins Blauwasser zu schauen und für größere Fische Ausschau zu halten, wie Thunfische, Adlerrochen und vielleicht sogar Größeres.

Felivaru Outreef is situated behind the Fish Canning Factory here in the Lhaviyani Atoll. It has a shallow top reef between 3 and 5 m. Steep drop offs down to 30m in areas or seemingly bottomless in other places. Between 18 and 30m and deeper there are lots of caves and overhangs to be found at different depths. Through some caves you can easily swim. They have a large amount of soft corals growing inside. Turtles sometimes sleep in the caves and occasionally leopard sharks are found resting in them too.
Always look out into the blue water; a big Tuna might swim past, eagle rays and maybe something even bigger.
