Dieser Tauchplatz liegt zwischen der unbewohnten Insel Huravalhi und dem Außenriff von Latheef. Es ist ein sehr kleiner Kanal, welchen man am besten mit einer einlaufender Strömung betaucht. Starten wir den Tauchgang mit dem Riff an der rechten Schulter, dann werden wir nahe der Ecke abtauchen und langsam zur Kanalkanteschwimmen. Die Kanalkante fängt bei ca. 25 m an und endet in ca. 30 m. Die Kanalkante selbst ist wie eine Zunge geformt welche in den Ozean hinaus reicht. An der Kante haltet Ausschau nach grauen Riffhaien, großen Schulen von Thunfischen und Schulen von Gelbschwanz Barrakudas.Im Kanal selbst findet Ihr große Korallenblöcke und viele grüne Kelchkorallenbäumchen, welche die Heimat von vielen Glasfischen und Feuerfischen sind. Dazwischen kann man sehr oft auch Geistermuränen und viele andere Muränen entdecken.Auch die Schildkröten kann man beim schmausen an Schwämmen entdecken.Sobald wir näher an den Peak selbst kommen, verändert sich das Riff und Ihr könnt Terrassen sehen mit kleinen Überhängen.Hier empfehlen wir Euch wieder nach vielem Kleingetier Ausschau zu halten, welches hier sehr zahlreich anzutreffen ist. Gegen Ende dieses Tauchganges schwimmen wir dann langsam aufs Topriff, wo wir nun gemütlich unseren Sicherheits Stopp in 5 m machen können

This dive site lies between the island Huravalhi and the outreef of Latheef. It is a small channel, which is best to cross with an ingoing current. Starting the dive with the reef on your left shoulder we will descent close to the corner on the out reef and swim towards the channel edge. The channel is shaped like a tongue that reaches out into the ocean. On the edge, look out for grey reef sharks and eagle rays. Often you can also find stingrays lying on the channel bottom. There is also a good chance to encounter a big school of jacks or even a school of yellow tail barracudas. As you cross the channel the bottom will drop from 25 m to about 30 m. Along the channel edge and into the channel itself you will find lots of big gorgonias and green cup coral branches. If you have time and the current is not too strong look out for ghost morays and small black cheek morays. In the middle of the channel you can also find large coral blocks, which are the homes of many glass fish, lion fish and sometimes you can even see a turtle feeding on the encrusting sponges. Coming closer to the Peak, the reef changes and forms little terraces with small overhangs. Again, look out for the smaller fish life, which is very abundant here. Towards the end of the dive we slowly make our way up to the top reef on Peak where we can easily do our safety stop in 5 m.
