Dieser Tauchplatz befindet sich an der Nordseite von der unbewohnten Insel Huravalhi. Dieser Platz ist sehr gut von den Strömungen geschützt und ist somit eine gute zweite Wahl, wenn im Kanal zu starke Strömung herrscht. Da dieses Riff so gut geschützt ist, bietet es natürlich den Fotografen und Videografen einen guten Platz um sich auszutoben. Das Topriff befindet sich in 3-5 Metern und fällt danach ziemlich flach zum Atollboden ab, welchen Ihr in ca. 25 Metern finden werdet. Zwischendurch gibt es auch kleine Wände mit vielen kleinen Überhangen und Höhlen, welche die Heimat von vielen kleinen Garnellen und Putzerstationen sind. Überall an diesem Tauchplatz kann man auch große Schulen von Blaustreifen-Schnappern, orientalischen Süßlippen und Buckelschnappern finden. Nicht vergessen manchmal einen Blick nach unten zu werfen, da eine große Möglichkeit besteht große Stachelrochen zu entdecken. Ein sehr guter Tauchplatz um die kleinen Lebewesen im Riff zu entdecken und natürlich zu fotografieren.

This dive site is situated on the north side of the island Huravalhi, which is an uninhabited. This site is protected of currents and an ideal second choice if the current is too strong on a channel situated dive site. As you are protected of currents it is also a popular spot for photographers and videographers alike. You can start this dive site with either the reef on your left shoulder or right shoulder. The top reef lies in between 3-5 meters and the reef itself slopes down gently to the atoll bottom in about 25 meters. Along the dive you will find small walls with little overhangs and crevices, which are the homes of small shrimps, cleaning stations and a big variety of other small fish. You will also encounter big schools of sweet lips, humpback snappers and blue striped snappers. While you swim along the reef always check the sandy bottom as there is a good chance to see big stingrays feeding. A very nice and relaxed dive with lots of time to investigate on small under water creatures.
