Dieses Giri befindet sich im Fushivaru Kanal und ist ein sehr großes Giri. Trotzdem sollte es nicht bei zu starker Strömung betaucht werden. Der schönste Platz an diesem Giri ist die nördliche Spitze, wo Ihr große Überhänge und große Korallenblöcke finden werdet. Diese Korallenblöcke forme kleine Canyons durch welche man tauchen kann. Diese werden von vielen Schwarmfischen, wie Schnapper, Füslieren und Süßlippen bewohnt. Es ist ein perfekter Platz für unsere Weitwinkelphotografen. Wir empfehlen Euch auch ein Lampe fuer diesen Platz mitzunehmen, da man so besser die Überhänge ausleuchten kann, welche viele Nacktschnecken, Feuerfische, Muränen und verschiedenfarbene Weichkorallen beherbergen. Zur Mantazeit ist es auch gut möglich diese faszinierenden Tiere an der nördlichen Spitze zu beobachten. Die beste Tiefe liegt bei ca. 15-20 Meter am Giri entlang mit eingehender oder ausgehender Strömung. Taucht nicht zu weit in den Kanal hinein, da es hier sehr wenig zu sehen gibt und die ganze Attraktion beim Giri selber zu finden ist. Hier findet Ihr immer wieder verteilt Korallenblöcke, welche die Heimat zahlreicher Kofferfische und Skoprionfische sind. In der Mitte des Giris werdet Ihr auf einen lang gezogenen Überhang stoßen, welcher meistens voller Glasfische ist. Hinter dem Glasfischvorhang kann man meistens einen Stachelrochen beim schlafen beobachten.
Gegen Ende des Tauchgangs läuft das Giri in sandingen Abhängen aus, welche voller Gartenaale sind. Diese wiederum sind eine Herausforderung für unsere Fotografen, diese auf das Bild zu bekommen, da diese meistens beim antauchen in Ihre Höhlen verschwinden. Lasst Euch Zeit für dieses Giri, speziell an der nördlichen Spitze, um die Vielfalt der Fische zu genießen. Fushivaru Giri ist ein perfekter Tauchgang auch für ein zweites mal!

This Giri is located in the Fushivaru Channel and is a large Giri. However it should not be dived with too strong a current. The most exciting part of this dive is the northern tip where you can find large overhangs and coral blocks scattered, which also form small canyons to dive through. This area is occupied with loads of schooling fish such as snappers, fusiliers and sweetlips and make this part a perfect place for our wide angle photographers. It is also recommended to take along a lamp to have a closer look into the overhangs. You can find lots of different nudibranches, lionfish, moray eels and different kinds of soft corals in all colors. In Manta season there is also a good chance to encounter these fascinating creatures at the northern tip of the Giri. Diving along the Giri either with in going or out going current keep between 15-20 meters. Further down in the channel is not much to see and the reef itself holds all the small attractions. In the middle of the dive site, the reef gently slopes down with small scattered coral blocks, where you often can find box fish and scorpion fish. You will also find a large cave which is not so high but rather deep into the reef. The roof of this cave has lots of yellow soft corals and small glass fish in front. There is also a good chance to see a stingray resting behind this curtain of fish.
Towards the end the reef slowly end into sandy slopes which are full of garden eels. It is rather a challenge for our photographers to get a picture of them as they disappear into their holes as soon as one comes closer. Take yourself time for this Giri and spend a lot of time right at the northern tip of it as there is an abundance of fish life to enjoy. A perfect dive to enjoy not only once!
