Demon Point

Demon Point ist ein Außenriff Drift Dive an der westlichen Spitze des Atolls! Hier können teilweise auch stärkere Strömungen auftreten! Das Riff, welches relativ steil abfällt, ist nicht ganz so schön bewachsen, wie die Riffe rund um Bushy. Gorgonien und Pilzkorallen sind am Riff am meisten zu finden! Stellenweise gibt es kleine flache Stellen, an denen es auch Tischkorallen gibt! Barrakudas manchmal auch Graue Riffhaie, Weisspitzen-Riffhaie und sogar manchmal Mantas werden dort gesehen! Napoleons, Muränen und viele Korallenfische kann man dort beobachten? Wenn die Strömung stark ist, kann man mit etwas Glück auch Hochseefische nahe am Riff sehen?

Demon Point is a Drift Dive on the northwest Corner of the Addu Atoll! Sometimes you can have strong currents there! The Reefs drops fast down, You don't have everywhere nice Corals like the Places around Bushy but you also found Gorgonian and Mushroom corals and some areas also beautiful Table corals. Direct on the Corner is a small Plateau with nice Corals in a deep of 12 to 15 m! There you can see Barracudas, groups of Eagle Rays, Whitetip-Reefsharks and sometimes also bigger Sharks like Grey-Reef sharks and also Manta Rays. Napoleons, Muray Eel and a lot of Coral-Reef fish you will see there? When you have strong current, may you have luck to see special High-Sea Fish!
