Kuda Kandu Outside
Kuda Kandu ist
einer der Top Plätze für Korallen, es sind fast alle Arten von Hartkorallen
vorhanden, viele Unterarten und in verschiedene Farben! Habe in den letzten 5 Jahren
keine Riffe mehr gesehen, die so stark und so verschieden bewachsen sind, wie dieses!
Selbst im 3 m Bereich Tischkorallen, Hirschkorallen, Pilz- und Porenkorallen, Salatkorallen
...! Aber nicht nur die Korallen machen die ganze so farbig, sondern auch die Unzahl
an kleinen Riffischen in Gelb, Grün und Blau machen das ganze richtig lebendig!
Schildkröten, Thunfische, Barsche in allen Varianten, 
Palettenstachler, Süßlippen, Schnapper, Barrakudas
und Adlerrochen findet man hier bei jedem Tauchgang! Man könnte den Platz hundert
mal betauchen und würde immer etwas Neues finden! Interessant ist es auch, das
diese Riffbewohner kaum Scheu zeigen, manchmal schwimmen die Schildkröten 20 Minuten
lang um die Taucher und haben dabei nur einen Abstand von einigen cm! Auch Barrakudas
und Adlerrochen kommen neugierig angeschwommen um zu schauen, was dort los ist! *grins*
Das Highlight ist dann noch der Korallenblock mit den Schaukelfischen! Es gibt dort
einen Weißen, einen Grünen und ein weißes Baby! Meistens jedoch ist
der große Weiße zu sehen! Aber diese Pilzkoralle ist übersät
mit Tischkorallen, Schwämmen, Muscheln und teilweise Gorgonien und Heimat von
Tausender anderer Riffbewohner! Man könnte eine ganze Stunde um den Block schwimmen,
leider macht es die Nullzeit leider nicht mit!

Dive like Kuda Kandu Corner, the Different is, we start more far away from the corner
and we Dive out on the Corners Top Reef, where most a lot of Turtles are! But so the
current in the channel is not important like Kuda Kandu corner, we can Dive there also
when we have Outgoing current! The main of the Dive side is similar like Kuda Kandu
Corner: Kuda Kandu Corner is one of the Top five Places in Addu Atoll. Here you will
found a lot of different and beautiful Corals and most a lot of Fish. When you have
incoming current in the Channel, you will have on the corner, big school of black Snapper,
White tip reef shark, Napoleon, Barracudas, Jackfish, Fusilier, Rainbow Runners, Eagle
Rays, lots of swarm fish and a lot of Turtles on the Top of the corner!
The whole outside reef is covered with big Tablecorels, some big mushroom coral blocks,
brain corals, cone corals and lots of other hard corals. On the last big Block you
found always two leaf fish, nice Table corals on the Rock and also Soft corals! Most
you found on the Rocks Moray Eels, Lobster, Snapper and Sweet lips also Puffer fish
and Millions of small groupers and other Fish! This Place you must seen it is a dream
for all people, if they want to see big fish or small fish everything is there!

Das
Außenriff nach Osten hin (wo der Schaukelfisch-Block ist), fängt
von einer Tiefe 3 bis 5m an und fällt bis zur Kante auf 30m seicht ab.
Ab 30 m hat man keine Korallen mehr und der Trop-Off (Steilwand) bis zu Tiefen
von 190 m (laut Seekarte) beginnt ! The outer reef to the east begins of a depth

Das Außenriff Richtung Westen fällt viel steiler ab, bis auf ca. 30m der Trop-Off anfängt. Man taucht schon langsam zum Anfang vom Tauchplatz Umarus Place. Es gibt mehr Tischkorallen, die wie Stufen am Riff wachsen. Gorgonien mit Langnasenbüschelbarschen, Schildkröten, Schnappern und auch ab und zu Adlerrochen und Weisspitzenhaie, wenn man Glück hat auch Hochseefische !
