Meedhoo Outside

Meedhoo Outside, ist ein Drift Tauchgang um die Nördlichste Ecke des Atolls! Bei starker Strömung Hai-Garantie! Öfters auch Hochseefische, Thunfische, Barrakudas, Adlerrochen und Napoleons! Das Topriff fängt auf ca. 5m Tiefe an und fällt steil bis auf unbekannte Tiefen ab. Zwischendurch kleine Plateaus wo man manchmal schlafende Haie sehen kann. Immer wieder kleine Abbruchkanten mit kleinen Ausspülungen, wo man Muränen, Rotfeuerfische, Weichkorallen und auch Schaukelfische findet kann.Tischkorallen, Pilzkorallen und sehr viel an Schwarmfischen! Durch manchmal starken Wellengang ist das Riff nicht ganz so schön mit Hartkorallen bewachsen, wie Kuda Kandu! Aber dieser Platz ist immer für Überraschungen gut !!!

Meedhoo Outside is a drift around the North East Corner of the Atoll! It's really far away, so we could reach only by full day trip! This East Corner gets damaged by the Coral bleaching 1998, so there you found no Corals like Bushy side! Years before there was a lot sharks, but special the People from Meedhoo fished too much Sharks! When we go there we have sometimes luck to see also Manta Rays and also we had before also once a Walshark, but the chance to see a very small! But in one Dive I did there, I found alone 5 Leave Fishes on Coral Blocks; also there is some small overhang, inside you found moray eels, nudibranch and gorgonian! Most Big Napoleons, White tip Reef Sharks and also Tunas! But for such a long Trip we decide most for Demon Point or Kottey !
