Umarus Place ist ein Außenriff-Drift-Dive. Ideale Tiefe ist zwischen 5m bis max. 25m Tiefe! In 5m Tiefe ist ein einzelner Block and dem man viele Süßlippen und Schwarmfische findet, manchmal liegen dort unter dem Block auch große Ammenhaie. In 25m Tiefe beim Abbruch mit den kleinen Ausspülungen, ist auch eine gute Chance einen Ammenhai schlafend anzutreffen. Um diesen Bereich gibt es mehrere Gorgonien, die die Heimat der Langnasen Büschelbarsche ist! Die beste Tiefe ist jedoch um die 15m, da man in dieser Tiefe das Riff besser überschauen kann! Der Platz ist von 5m Tiefe bis 30m Tiefe voll mit Korallen in allen Farben und Arten! Viele Riffische wie Falter- Wimpelfische, Barsche, Schnapper und Süßlippen sowie Palettenstachler, Makrelen, Thunfische und auch mal Weisspitzenhaie! Wenn man viel Glück hat kann man auch mal Besonderheiten wie Segelfische oder Mantas sehen! Wenn man den Platz das erste mal betaucht, weiß man gar nicht wohin man eigentlich schauen soll, da es soviel zu sehen gibt! Man könnte ihr auch Aquarium nennen! Für Fotografen ein Tipp, die Tischkorallen stehen teilweise wie Stufen vom Riff ab und eignen sich perfekt für Aufnahmen von unten gegen das Licht, genauso wie die Gorgonien die mit einem Model super auf Bild gebracht werden können!

Umarus Place is a simple Reef Dive on the north outside reef. The special is a big Coral Block on 5m deep and a big rock who breaks away from the reef. this two small places have small overhang and sometimes there are sleeping Nursesharks inside ! The reef falls in the beginning straight down to 30m after it slope slowly down and have some single Coral Blocks. This place has everywhere beutifull Table corals and some Gorgonias. The corals look like steps and the Top reef has the nicest corals of the atoll. You found their most small Fishes like Sweet lips, Snapper, Groupers and some special Fish like long nose Hawk fish and Harlequin Feil fish. But sometimes you meet also Manta Rays and when you have luck also Sailfish. But also without the big fishes it is an amazing Dive on that Reef!

Der flach abfallende Riff-Bereich ist überwiegend mit Salatkorallen bewachsen ! Größere Pilzkorallen, und Tischkorallen, an denen man Lobster , viele Fische und Schnecken findet. Sie sind auch die Heimat von vielen Schnappern, Süßlippen und Makrelen, dort auch öfters Weisspitzenhai!

The reef area falling flatly is predominantly overgrown with salad corals! Bigger mushroom corals and table corals at which one finds praise stere, many fish and snails. You are fairly often the home of many snaps, sweet lips and mackerels, showing leading shark there, too!

Der steilere Riff-Bereich von Umarus Place ist mit sehr vielen Tischkorallen in vielen Varianten bewachsen ! Die verschiedenen Formen und Farben der Tischkorallen sind faszinierend und teilweise sehen die Tischkorallen wie Treppenstufen am Riff aus, da sie direkt übereinander stehen! Für Fotografen mit Weitwinkelobjektiv ein gefundenes Objekt, um schöne Panoramafotos zu machen.
