HOW DO YOU COME UNDER WATER ?

If it isn't open also obvious to the subscription, never without sun-protection snorkel: An old T shirt for the back and suntan cream for the calves. Smooth and even motion of the fins already chases no fish, hot-air merchant away however. Always moving the fins only under water !

Taking deep breath once again deeply as soon as one has seen interesting fish (much more promotes only the Hyperventilation and shortens the actual diving time), bending the upper part of the body in the field center around about 90° to below and to this perhaps with one or the two hands which waters up push in front ...

... while one extends the legs as when a headstand. Through this one sinks first quietly with the head under the water surface and, only if the financeses also have completely dived in under water, one may start to paddle. As of about 1.5 to 2 meters of depth one should already start with the 1st pressure balance (squeezing together through the nose by the diving mask and blowing into the nose put over briefly with thumb and forefinger).

The eardrum could burst theoretically already as of 4-5 m of depth repeat the pressure balance to 2 meters of depth all 1.5 at least, because without him. By the pressure balance the air is compressed in the field and one can fundamentally more easily dive into larger depths through what down, adapted to the surrounding water pressure automatically. With pressure balance one has less impetus and one can thick more easily swim through the flat waters over the ground.

a little bit snorkel-tips

Diving only with intact eardrum. No put wadding or ear stopper into the ears, under no circumstances !
At cold you may not dive also, because with transferred nose no pressure balance turns out well and the lowest damage would be a burst eardrum!
Never dive or snorkel alone and grasp nothing under water also in the own interest at all!

THE ABC-EQUIPMENT

different dive-mask

All today's Silicone masks are actually so quite rope. Keeping the mask to the face and retracting the air by the nose. If the mask holds at least for a minute, then she matches well.
Strongly from inside on the glasses spits, with fat-free fingers rubs and rinses out make in front of the salt-water. An arbitrary tooth paste seems even better: Easily clean and rinse out!

different Snorkel

From blowing valves at the mouthpiece are practical, valves at the upper end even can get highly dangerous however. Smooth tubes or hoses are easier blow out as the ribbed hoses. Blaze colors serve the own accuracy so that one is seen.

different fins

Short fins have easily and cramp freer to be used, give however only low drove. (with long fins leafs one can swim faster-and appear), one gets however more easily a cramp in the calf. The new split fins and thus larger, obtainable depths have to be carried allegedly easily and at present offer the strongest drove.

THE MOST IMPORTANT DIVER-SIGNALS

Most snorkel-signals date from the divers and at this have neither something lost nor are they meaningfully. "I have no more air " at this a permanent condition is snorkel anyway and doesn't require any signal therefore. The other signs are also destination leading only for divers and I show one for the sake of completeness here couple of this:

OK, all right ?! This is a Question and a Answer.

Everything OK?    All of them is OK!

This signal dates from the divers, however also is used just the same by the snorkeler and other athletes and serves question and response in a similar manner.

Nothing in order !

Nothing is all right!

The hand is to the left and to the right turned at this.

look this!

There look!

This is a signal of the divers but also, is however used as note worldwide.

STOP!

Hold, stop!

This sign "hold" or "stop" indicates, raised in the height quietly

ATTENTION!

Danger!

The raised hand is swung intensely to and fro.

nothing Air, I go up

Appear!

This signal probably still won't have seen any snorkeler because, till now, I always have appeared at least voluntarily and at the latest after 1 minute (or already earlier). I never had to do so much air stand-by unfortunately, that somebody would have me had to show "now appear up finite"

Please, if you could not understand all the texts, excuse my low knowledge of English.
